Where is the shop, and why east Dallas?
The shop is inside the I-635 loop on the east side of the city, between I-30 to the south and Northwest Highway to the north, a few minutes from the Buckner and Ferguson exits. From there the metro opens in every direction: I-30 west to Downtown and on to Irving and Grand Prairie, I-635 north to Richardson, Addison and Carrollton and east to Garland and Mesquite, US-75 to Plano, Allen and McKinney, and the Tollway to Frisco.
East Dallas also happens to be where the franchised European dealers are not. The BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche and Land Rover service departments cluster along the Tollway, I-635 west and the northern suburbs, so for owners in Lakewood, Lake Highlands, Garland, Mesquite and Rowlett the shop is closer than the dealer, and for owners in the north the drive is the same either way.
Which cities are inside the 30-mile radius?
All of the cities in the table below, measured from the 75228 centroid. Dallas itself is written as a neighborhoods page because the city is too large for one drive time: Casa Linda, Lakewood and Lake Highlands are minutes away, Uptown and Downtown about fifteen, Preston Hollow and North Dallas twenty to twenty-five. The other eleven pages cover Irving, Plano, Garland, Richardson, Carrollton, Frisco, Mesquite, Allen, University Park, Highland Park and Addison.
Cities without a page, among them Farmers Branch, Rowlett, Sachse, Wylie, Murphy, Coppell, Lewisville, The Colony, Grand Prairie, Arlington, McKinney, Rockwall, Balch Springs and Sunnyvale, are served on the same terms; the table gives their zips and a drive window, and the booking reply gives directions from your side.
How should a car that will not start get here?
On a flatbed, not a tow truck with the rear wheels down, because a European car with an electric parking brake, an automatic gearbox or air suspension can be damaged by a wheel-lift tow and because a car with a dead body controller may not release its parking brake at all. Say what the car does when you book so the bay is reserved for the day the truck arrives rather than the day you call, and send every key, the registration and any previous invoices with the car.
A car that starts but has a warning should usually be driven in; an intermittent fault gives more data while the car still answers the bus. Overheating warnings and red brake warnings are the exceptions: stop, and arrange the flatbed.
How do you get home without a second car?
The DART Blue Line stops at White Rock Station on Northwest Highway, a short rideshare from the shop, and runs to Downtown and Garland; the Red and Orange lines connect from Downtown to the Park Cities, Richardson, Plano, Irving and Carrollton. A rideshare to Downtown or Uptown is about fifteen minutes off-peak, and to the northern suburbs twenty to thirty.
Diagnostic sessions and oil services are short enough to wait for; programming jobs, air suspension and transmission work are better left for the day, and the estimate says how long before you commit.
How long is the drive by corridor?

Questions
What do drivers ask about the service area?
Usually, yes; the radius describes where most of the work comes from, not a boundary the shop enforces. Say where you are coming from when you book and the reply gives a drive window and, for a car that will not start, flatbed advice.
No. The platforms, the regulated supply, the lift and the pressure tooling are at the shop, and programming on a driveway is how modules get bricked. The car comes to east Dallas, by its own power or by flatbed.
I-30 at Buckner Boulevard or Ferguson Road from the south and west; I-635 at Northwest Highway or Ferguson Road from the north and east. The street address and turn-by-turn directions from your side of the metro are sent with the appointment confirmation.
Drop-off is arranged within the hours, Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Sat: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Sun: Closed, because the address and the key hand-over are part of the booking. If your schedule needs an early or late window, say so in the request and the reply will tell you what is possible.
