Factory diagnostic software in an east Dallas shop at the south end of the Tollway, for Frisco owners whose job is a module, a key or a coding session rather than an oil change.
Factory tools for eight brands, repairs covered by a 2-year/24,000-mile warranty
Frisco
Frisco is the far north end of our radius: Starwood and Newman Village off Lebanon Road, Phillips Creek Ranch west of the Tollway, and the apartments near The Star and Hall Park. From all of them the way to east Dallas is the Dallas North Tollway south to I-635, then east to the Northwest Highway or Ferguson Road exit, about 25 minutes before the morning rush builds.
The cars from 75033, 75034 and 75035 are newer than from any other city we cover. Leased Macan and Cayenne, Range Rover Sport and Velar, Q5, Q7 and Q8, X5 and X7 fill the garages along the Tollway, and many become used cars when the lease ends and a Frisco buyer takes them on at four or five years old, just as factory coverage runs out.
Franchised service departments for every one of these brands sit along the Tollway corridor and SH-121 within a few miles of Frisco, closer than we are. Owners come to us because the repair is a module, a key, a software change or a diagnosis the dealer resolved into a replacement part without a root cause.
For the Frisco car that means PIWIS, SDD and Pathfinder, ODIS, ISTA or XENTRY as the brand requires, with a J2534 pass-through and OEM subscriptions for flashing. Service is in English or Spanish, and every job begins with a written range.
The Tollway is the backbone: it keeps moving until the Galleria interchange where it meets LBJ. Take I-635 east past US-75 and Skillman, exit at Northwest Highway or Ferguson Road, and the shop is a few blocks south.
East Frisco households near Independence Parkway or Coit Road often do better by SH-121 to US-75 south, then LBJ east for the last stretch. Between 7 and 9 both roads slow at the LBJ merge, so a drop-off after 9:30 is the easier one.
Frisco is Porsche and Land Rover territory. The Macan and Cayenne arrive with PDK adaptation questions and keyless-entry faults that need PIWIS to see the body control module. Range Rover Sport and Velar owners bring air suspension warnings and keys that need the KVM touched with SDD.
The Audi Q-series is the volume: Q5 and Q7 at four to six years old with component protection locked after a used-module swap, EA888 timing chain questions, and MMI units that need ODIS coding after replacement.
Coverage decides it. A Frisco car in its first three years should stay with the dealer for warranty work, and we say so. The owners who come to us have a car out of coverage or a complete-module quote, and a $165–$265 session that reads every module costs less than a replacement built on a code.
Programming is the other reason. A franchised department will often decline a used module outright; we program FEM/BDC, CAS, EIS/ESL, DME, TCM and gateway modules, supplied or used, and the repair carries 2 years parts and 2 years labor, up to 24,000 miles, nationwide.
Most Frisco owners drive down, leave the car and ride back; a rideshare from the shop to The Star takes about half an hour outside rush. A one to two hour diagnostic can be a same-morning collection.
Module jobs run on a different clock: a supplied module programmed and coded is a one to two day job, and all-keys-lost on a Mercedes waits for a dealer-sourced FBS4 key. call or text (817) 765-6604 with photos of the dash and the VIN before you make the drive.

Frisco Q7, Cayenne and Range Rover owners with a used module the dealer will not touch: VIN-matched, flashed and coded with the OEM subscriptions, labor $250–$650.

A full-module scan on a Frisco car coming off lease into a private sale, with guided tests in PIWIS, SDD or ODIS and findings in writing.

Spare keys for Macan, Velar and Q5 households that leased with one key and want a second before the car changes hands; AVDI, one to two hours.

Range Rover Sport and Cayenne air suspension from Starwood and Phillips Creek Ranch, where a corner that sags overnight points to a strut, valve block or compressor, leak-tested first.

Off-lease Macans, X5s and Q7s sold privately around Frisco get a written report and a module scan showing stored faults and coding state before money changes hands.

PDK and ZF 8HP fluid services on Frisco Porsches and BMWs at the mileage where the lease is over and the lifetime-fill promise has become the owner's problem.

Questions
For warranty work, no. For an out-of-coverage car with a module quote, a used part that needs programming, or a fault two dealer visits have not pinned down, yes: the same factory software, in-house programming, a written range and 2 years parts and 2 years labor, up to 24,000 miles, nationwide on the repair.
Book a full PIWIS session before the first repair, not after. It reads every module, the PDK adaptation values, the over-rev counters and the stored faults the lease never surfaced, and the findings come back in writing. From there any work the car needs is quoted as a range.
Usually a used one works if the part number and software level match. We write the VIN, flash the correct version, code it to the car and clear component protection with ODIS. A new module is the answer only when nothing matching exists used or the part is locked beyond release.
Yes. Saturday hours are Sat: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and the Tollway is quiet enough on a Saturday morning that the drive is close to the 25-minute figure. Diagnostics and key programming fit inside a Saturday visit; module programming that needs a day or two is better started on a weekday.
