Factory tools for eight brands, repairs covered by a 2-year/24,000-mile warranty
Why build a shop around programming rather than maintenance?
Because programming is where European repair breaks down in Dallas. Plenty of shops change oil on a BMW or pads on an Audi. Far fewer can replace a FEM and code it, release component protection on a used MMI, SCN code a Mercedes conductor plate, or program a Range Rover KVM, and the owners of those cars end up at the dealer for the last step of a repair someone else started. The shop was set up to finish those jobs, with the platform for each brand on licensed hardware and the subscriptions that connect them to the manufacturer.
The maintenance follows from that. A shop that reads every module during an oil change catches the transmission fault or the air suspension leak months early, and a shop that owns the tool does the brake job with the parking brake in service mode and the counter reset rather than with a pry bar. The programming capability raises the standard of the ordinary work; it does not replace it.
What tooling does the shop actually own?
ISTA for BMW and MINI, XENTRY with online SCN coding for Mercedes-Benz, ODIS with the online login and VCDS for Audi and Volkswagen, PIWIS for Porsche, and SDD with Pathfinder for Jaguar and Land Rover. A J2534 pass-through with the manufacturer programming subscriptions for engine and transmission controllers. AVDI and Abrites for immobilizer reading, used module alignment and the key work the factory tools decline. A regulated power supply for every flash, a pressure tester and vacuum filler for cooling work, and the per-corner tooling for air suspension.
The list is on this page, on the hub and on every brand page because it is the thing to check before choosing a European shop. A shop that cannot name the platform for your brand will eventually send the car to someone who can.
How does a visit work from first message to hand-back?
You send the brand, model, mileage, VIN and the symptom, and say whether the car starts. The reply tells you whether the car needs a diagnostic session or can go straight to a booked service, the range that applies and the available windows. The car comes in, is read on the platform for its brand, and you receive written findings with the cause, the part, the programming it needs and a range. Nothing is ordered until you approve.
The repair or the programming runs on a regulated supply with genuine or original-equipment parts, every adaptation the brand requires is done in the same session, and the car is verified with a second vehicle test and a road test. The invoice records the parts, the software session and the warranty, and the car is handed back with the old parts available to see.
Which parts and fluids does the shop use?
Modules come new from the manufacturer, from the original-equipment supplier where the same unit is sold, or as tested used units with a known donor where the brand allows alignment; the estimate names which. Mechanical parts are genuine or from the suppliers that make them for the brand, ordered by VIN because the option on the car changes the part. Fluids are chosen by the manufacturer approval: BMW LL, Mercedes 229, VW 50x, Porsche A40 and C40, the JLR specifications, the exact transmission fluid for each gearbox and the brand coolant.
The approval or the part origin goes on the invoice. If a cheaper route exists, a used module, a repair of the existing board, a single corner instead of a pair, the estimate shows it with the trade-off written beside it.
What does the shop not do?
It does not quote from a phone description, because the same symptom has several prices. It does not clear a fault to make a light go away. It does not fit a module without proving the failure, or sell a compressor to a car with a leak. It does not convert air suspension to coils, tune engines, or program a key without proof of ownership. It does not travel; the car comes to east Dallas.
It also does not claim what it cannot show. Nothing on this site states years in business, certifications, review counts or ratings; those facts appear when the owner confirms them and not before. What the site does state, the tools, the method, the ranges and the warranty, is what the shop stands on.
Who is the shop for?
Owners of a BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, MINI, Jaguar or Land Rover inside 30 miles of 75228 who want the dealer's tools without the dealer's pricing, and who want to see the data and the range before they say yes. Buyers of used European cars who want the immobilizer, the module history and the engine read before money changes hands. And the owners of cars that another shop or a dealer could not finish, who arrive with a folder of invoices and a module that was never coded.
Everything can be handled in English or Spanish, by appointment, with the hours Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Sat: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Sun: Closed. To start, call or text (817) 765-6604 with the VIN and what the car is doing.
Questions
What should you know about the shop?
Neither. It is an independent shop in east Dallas that owns the factory platforms for eight brands, sets its own labor and parts pricing and quotes every job as a written range before any part is ordered.
The street address, which is shared at booking; the tracked phone line, until it is provisioned the contact is service@dallaseuropeanautorepair.com; the owner's background and any certifications, which will be published when confirmed. No figure on this site that depends on those facts has been invented.
The shop works by appointment inside a service area rather than as a walk-in storefront, and the address is sent with the appointment confirmation along with directions from your side of the metro. The service-area page lists every city and zip inside the 30-mile radius.
Yes. Old parts are kept for you to see at hand-back, and the fault data, the before-and-after vehicle tests and the software session are recorded on the invoice. Ask when booking if you want the printouts as well.
