Addison
Addison is four square miles of apartments, offices and restaurants between the Tollway and Midway Road, with Addison Circle and Vitruvian Park on the residential side and the Belt Line strip in the middle. The cars in the garages under Addison Circle and in the office decks along the Tollway and Arapaho are leased European sedans and compact SUVs.
The run to east Dallas is LBJ. Midway or the Tollway south to I-635, then east past US-75 to the Northwest Highway or Ferguson Road exit: about 17 minutes outside rush, closer to thirty at the peak. Belt Line east to Hillcrest or Preston and south to Northwest Highway is the surface alternative.
The Addison mix is current-generation BMW 3 and 5 Series, X1 and X3, Mercedes C-Class, CLA and GLC, Audi A4, A5, Q3 and Q5, with a Golf or a MINI for the younger renters. Most are leased; a growing share were bought at lease-end and are now out of coverage with the first module or key fault of their lives.
Dealers for all of these brands sit minutes from Addison along the Tollway and LBJ, which is why an Addison owner coming to us usually has a specific reason: a module the dealer wants to replace, a key the dealer will not add without a separate visit, or a lease-return coding question.
Quorum Drive or Spectrum south to Belt Line, then the Tollway or Midway south to LBJ eastbound. The LBJ stretch runs past the Galleria and under the High Five at US-75; exit at Northwest Highway or Ferguson Road.
Morning traffic on LBJ eastbound builds from the Tollway to Central between 7:30 and 9, and the afternoon return is slower still from 4:30. Addison owners who drop the car before 7:15 or after 9:30 miss most of it.
Cars that sit. A leased 3 Series or C-Class parked under Addison Circle for four days and driven two miles to Belt Line never fully charges its battery, and the result is a cluster full of low-voltage faults and a key that stops being recognized. ISTA and XENTRY separate the voltage ghosts from a real fault.
Off-lease cars from the office corridor bring the first real module work: a FEM or BDC on an F30 that will not wake, an EIS on a W205 that refuses the key, an A4 with a locked MMI after a used-screen repair, a GLC with a gateway fault after a jump-start done backwards.
For a leased car still under coverage, you should not, and we will say so after the scan. The Addison owners who drive to us own the car now, or have a lease-end problem the dealer wants to fix with a replacement part; the $165–$265 session reads every control unit and explains the fault in writing.
In-house programming is the difference. Used or supplied modules are VIN-written, flashed and coded here, keys are added with AVDI and the factory tool, and lease-return coding questions are answered from the car's own module data. The work is covered for 2 years parts and 2 years labor, up to 24,000 miles, nationwide.
Drop before work and ride back. A rideshare from the shop to the Tollway offices or Addison Circle is about twenty minutes outside rush, and diagnostic sessions take one to two hours, so the car can be collected on the way home.
Key programming with a working key is a same-visit job. Module programming takes one to two days. For the lease-return question, text or email the VIN and the question first, call or text (817) 765-6604, and the answer may not need a visit at all.

Questions
Read it first. A $165–$265 session tells you whether the light is a registration or low-voltage ghost that clears with a coding step, or a real fault the lease inspection will charge for. Many Addison lease returns need nothing more than a battery registered properly.
Yes, with the working key and the car here for one to two hours. XENTRY and AVDI add a key to the EIS on W204 and W205 cars, $220–$450; on FBS4 cars the blank itself is dealer-sourced and we tell you that before you book.
Short trips and long parking. A battery driven two miles a day to Belt Line is never fully charged, so a week of sitting drains it. We measure the sleep-mode draw by circuit, test the cell, and register a new battery if the old one is finished, $320–$650.
Before 7:15 or after 9:30 on a weekday. Eastbound LBJ between the Tollway and Central is slowest from about 7:30 to 9, and the 17-minute drive becomes 30. Weekday hours are Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; a drop at opening fits the early window.
