Dallas County · about 18 minutes to the shop
Irving is on the opposite side of Dallas from our 75228 bays, but SH-183, I-35E and I-30 line up well enough that a Las Colinas sedan can be scanned, coded and back on the Tollway the same afternoon.
Factory tools for eight brands, repairs covered by a 2-year/24,000-mile warranty
Irving
Irving splits into three places that drive differently. Las Colinas and the Urban Center along SH-114 are towers, lakeside apartments and corporate parking garages. Valley Ranch, near the Coppell line, is newer family blocks. South Irving around Irving Boulevard and the Loop 12 corridor is older, more Spanish-speaking, and full of cars kept rather than traded.
The vehicles follow the map. Company-car and short-lease sedans fill the garages around Las Colinas Boulevard: F30 and G20 3 Series, W205 and W206 C-Class, B9 A4 and Q5, with a thinner layer of Macan and Range Rover Evoque. These cars rarely wear anything out; they need a second key, a software campaign, a battery registration or a module coded after a collision repair.
South Irving is the reverse: E90, E60 and E70 BMWs, W203 and W211 Mercedes, Mk5 and Mk6 Jettas and GTIs, often ten to fifteen years old and owned outright. That is where FRM, CAS, ESL and instrument cluster failures turn up, where a programmed used module is the realistic repair, explained in Spanish or English.
Franchised dealers for these brands sit along the airport corridor and in the northwest suburbs, and for south and central Irving that is not much closer than east Dallas. The difference is that we price the programming labor as a separate range, which makes a used FEM or a reconditioned ABS module worth doing.
Las Colinas drivers take SH-114 east into I-35E, follow it south to Woodall Rodgers, then I-30 east to the Buckner Boulevard exit. Off-peak that is about 25 minutes; between 7 and 9 in the morning the Mixmaster adds ten more.
South Irving has the shortest line: SH-183 or Irving Boulevard east to I-35E, then I-30 east all the way to Buckner, usually eighteen minutes outside rush hour.
Lease and fleet sedans from the Las Colinas towers arrive for things a tire shop cannot handle: a replacement key coded to a G20 or a W206, an iDrive or MBUX software level that the dealer campaign never reached, a comfort module that lost its coding after a windscreen replacement, or a battery registration after a hurried replacement.
The older south Irving cars bring the bigger module jobs. E90 FRM modules go dark after a jump start, E60 CAS units lose their key sync, W211 SAM modules corrode, and a Mk6 Jetta cluster stops talking to the immobilizer. We program used or new units with ISTA, XENTRY or ODIS and code every one to the car.
Price structure is the first reason. A dealer quotes a new module plus programming as a single line; we quote the programming labor as its own range and let the owner pick a new, remanufactured or used unit where the platform allows it.
Brand reach is the second. An Irving family with an X3, a Q5 and a Cayenne otherwise needs three service departments; here ISTA, ODIS and PIWIS share one bench. Every programming job carries the 2 years parts and 2 years labor, up to 24,000 miles, nationwide warranty.
Most Las Colinas owners pair the drop-off with a rideshare back to the Urban Center, about 25 minutes against the morning flow. The rail option is the DART Blue Line from White Rock Station into Downtown and the Orange Line out to Las Colinas.
Key cutting, coding and most diagnostic sessions finish within a few hours, so a south Irving driver can wait. Module jobs that depend on a VIN-specific order are better planned: we confirm the part before you drive over, and the car stays inside until the programming is road-tested.

ISTA, XENTRY and ODIS sessions for Las Colinas lease cars with a warning light that the office-park quick lube could only clear for a week.

Second keys and all-keys-lost recovery for Irving owners, including Valley Ranch G20s and south Irving E90s whose only key stopped being recognized.

FRM, CAS, SAM and cluster replacements for older Irving BMW and Mercedes cars, with used-module routes priced as a range next to new.

Battery registration and charging-system coding for sedans that live in Las Colinas garages and get jump-started more often than they should.

Brand-approval oil with the service interval reset through the factory tool, so an Irving lease return shows a correct CBS or ASSYST history.

Questions
If the question is a warning light, a module fault or a key, yes, because the answer depends on the factory tool and on someone who reads the fault memory in context. A generic scanner near the office cannot run guided tests or code a module.
Yes. Programming runs through a J2534 pass-through with OEM subscriptions, so a control unit can be updated to the current level the manufacturer publishes. We check the campaign list for your VIN first and say whether the update addresses the fault.
Yes, the front desk works in Spanish and English, and the written findings can be explained in either. call or text (817) 765-6604 to describe the symptom in whichever language is easier, and bring every key you have, because immobilizer work goes faster with a working key present.
Arrange a flatbed to the shop; we do not travel. Send the VIN and a dash photo ahead so the right tool and any likely module are lined up. All-keys-lost and dead-EIS jobs typically run two to three hours once the car is in the bay, and Saturday slots are Sat: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
